Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Des Plaines, IL, Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with rotational Friday or Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role offers a pay range of $21.75–$24.90 per hour with possible shift differentials and potential annual bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, processing, and maintaining logs while adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and records; assist with statistics.
• Prepare specimens for transport and handle labeling and processing.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock, phones, emails).
• Complete trainings timely.
