Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Rockwall, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II for part-time hours (Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–1:00 PM) with rotational weekends. Pay starts at $24.50+ per hour and may include performance bonuses.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, preparing and labeling samples, entering data accurately, and maintaining logs and equipment while adhering to policies and HIPAA requirements. Requires strong English communication and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available on weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computers and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and related records.
• Complete training courses timely.
