Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist II in Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Thu 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM–12:30 PM). The role requires collecting specimens, preparing samples, and entering data in lab systems. Must have phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma, with CA/NV/WA certification preferred where applicable.

Benefits vary by part-time status and eligibility. Salary range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour with potential annual performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collecting payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, and handling phones/email.
