Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexibility and availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify test/client information using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Handle specimen processing: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics submission and data compilation.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and required maintenance records.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
