Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a part-time role in League City, TX, Monday to Friday 1:00 PM–5:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay starts at $22.35+ per hour. The position emphasizes accurate specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to lab procedures.

The candidate should have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Benefits and incentive plans are available for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and confirm/verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read, understand, and comply with policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance/temperature logs.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
