Quest Diagnostics in Boerne, TX is hiring a Phlebotomist II for a part-time role. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:15 PM, with rotational Saturdays 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Pay range starts at $20.00 per hour, with eligibility for additional compensation and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, verifying orders, data entry, and maintaining phlebotomy logs. Requirements include 3 years of phlebotomy experience and fluent English communication.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
