Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a part-time role in Albuquerque, NM. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with responsibilities including specimen collection, data entry, and processing under established procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify test orders by using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policies.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
