Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is hiring a Phlebotomist I for a part-time role in Albuquerque, NM. The position runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, offering a pay range of $20.00+ per hour.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, processing samples, data entry, and maintaining logs, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance. qualifying candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; medical training such as a medical assistant or paramedic is preferred,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission; maintain phlebotomy logs.
