Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Bangor, ME, is hiring a Phlebotomist I for a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM with rotational weekends. The role offers a pay range of $20.00–$21.45 per hour and requires high school diploma with phlebotomy training or certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Review test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID, enter billing info, and collect payments following policies.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient-facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
