Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Rio Rancho, NM, part-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The role offers a pay range of $20+ per hour and eligibility for annual performance bonuses based on performance and company factors.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data-entry skills, and reliable transportation. Education includes a high school diploma with phlebotomy certification preferred in some states.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders and enter data in lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and ensure accurate data entry.
• Collect payments when required following policies.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
