Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener with phlebotomy responsibilities to support our plasma center operations in Camp Hill, PA. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and help ensure high-quality donor care and accurate recordkeeping.

Travel for training is required (6-8 weeks). The role offers flexible shifts, including weekends, with the potential to support donors and contribute to life-changing medicines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• 1 or more years minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.
• Requires 6-8 weeks of travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Maintain donor charts and records in the Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
