Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays availability.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year experience in a customer- or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment per training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies, break down cartons, and assist disposal.
• Record donor measurements and enter data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements using 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.
