Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, seeks a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in Columbus, NE. Primary duties include dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Hours are 20 hours per week guaranteed, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm with a potential to flex up to 40 hours. Location: 4321 41st Ave., Columbus, NE.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nebraska Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work onsite at 4321 41 st Ave. Columbus, NE
• Part-time availability 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic partners
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
