Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge in real-world practice within our retail pharmacy teams. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, support operations, and help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues and practice active listening
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute prescription quantities, days’ supply, and dosages to ensure accuracy
