Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy activities, support the Pharmacy Manager, and ensure patient safety and quality in every interaction. This role focuses on delivering care with heart and maintaining high standards in a busy retail environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Pharmacist license in the state, maintains a National Provider Identifier, and is able to work 28 hours per week including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Maintain patient safety by verifying prescription information and accurate labeling
• Provide friendly, responsive customer service and collaborate with the pharmacy team
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues using verbal and written channels
• Apply basic math to determine dosage, days supply, and bottle counts
• Resolve issues by choosing appropriate actions in challenging situations
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods
