Job summary

SpartanNash in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a part-time pharmacist to efficiently compound and dispense prescriptions, counsel customers, and supervise technicians. The position requires inventory management, record keeping, and compliance with regulatory guidelines in a busy community pharmacy.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), an active license, and CE compliance, with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred.
• Active pharmacy license in good standing.
• Immunization certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Receive, dispense and counsel on prescriptions accurately.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and interns as needed.
• Order, stock and cycle count inventory; manage records.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and programs.
