Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare division is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a Long Term Care facility in Tennessee. This part-time role (20 hours/week) features 8.5-hour shifts, weekend rotation, and coverage for evenings and holidays in a 24/7 pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities include dispensing, maintaining drug accuracy, and adhering to DEA/state regulations. A B.S. or PharmD in Pharmacy and active TN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in Tennessee and in good standing.
• Pharmacy education as required (B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check labels and orders for completeness and precision.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products if required.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual Schedule II drug inventory.
• Maintain knowledge of DEA and state controlled substances laws.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled.
• Follow HIPAA and other regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
