Harris Teeter seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide world-class customer service in-store and cover available shifts. You will administer immunizations, dispense medications, review prescriptions for accuracy and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure safety and compliance.

Maintain records, maximize gross profit, and minimize expenses while upholding HIPAA and regulatory standards across federal and state laws. Travel for relief coverage may be required as needed.

Formación

• Must be a licensed pharmacist, in good standing, within the state(s), as necessary
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. Previous experience preferred.
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited organization

Responsabilidades

• Work as a pharmacist in a store covering available shifts
• Dispense or compound medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions
• Review prescriptions issued by prescribers for accuracy
• Verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns
• Evaluate medications for drug interactions before filling
• Maintain records related to pharmacy functions, volume and sales
• Administer immunizations following standing orders and procedures
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws including HIPAA
• Maximize gross profit and minimize operating expenses
• Assist in training and supervising associates and relief coverage
