Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Client satisfaction references preferred.
• OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE are practiced.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and procedures.
• Maintains front desk, reception area, waiting area, and exam rooms in clean, presentable condition.
• Processes cash, checks, credit card payments and account payments.
• Schedules appointments adhering to Doctor preferences and workflow.
• Updates client/patient files and sends client correspondence.
• Sends reminder notices and conducts follow-up calls from a callback list.
• Performs daily posting and backup of computer system as directed.
• Welcomes clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor to ensure a positive visit.
• Answers calls with proper telephone etiquette and assists clients.
• Presents medications and take-home items to clients.
• Handles emergencies following clinic policies and procedures.
