Job summary

Blue Cross Pet Clinic in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a part-time Client Service Representative to welcome clients, manage front desk operations, and support medical records and scheduling.

You will handle cash and payments, update client files, send reminders, and assist with basic data entry while upholding compassionate service.

Weekend availability is required; previous veterinary office experience is preferred. Benefits include PTO, health, retirement, and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with Doctors and clinic staff to ensure patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening/closing procedures per manager and clinic protocols.
• Keep front desk, waiting area, and exam rooms clean and organized.
• Process cash, checks, and card payments; handle credit accounts.
• Schedule appointments respecting doctor preferences and workflow.
• Update client/patient files and send client correspondence.
• Send reminders and conduct timely follow-ups from callback lists.
• Backup daily system data entry and posting of daily activities.
• Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive visit experience.
• Answer inbound calls with proper phone etiquette.
• Present medications and at-home items to clients.
• Handle emergencies calmly following clinic policies.
