Job summary

YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part-time certified Personal Trainers to design and implement exercise programs for members at the Patrick Henry Family YMCA in Ashland, VA.

The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to work as a Wellness Coach to build member relationships, provide equipment orientations, conduct fitness evaluations, and assist on the wellness floor. Required certifications include CPR, AED, First Aid, and a national PT credential (ACSM/NSCA/ACE/AFFA, etc.).

Qualifications

• Must hold one current nationally recognized personal trainer certification (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, AFFA, etc.).
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are required.
• Past experience in gym setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement exercise programs for members.
• Work flexible hours to accommodate member needs.
• Assist members on the wellness floor and provide equipment orientations.

Education
