Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking certified Personal Trainers at the Petersburg Family YMCA to design and implement exercise programs and to work closely with members.

Candidates should hold a current nationally recognized certification (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, or similar) and CPR/AED/First Aid, with flexibility for morning hours and varying shifts. The role may include wellness coaching, equipment orientations, fitness evaluations, and helping members on the wellness floor.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized personal trainer certification (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, etc.).
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement exercise programs for members.
• Work closely with members to meet fitness goals.
• Provide equipment orientations and conduct fitness evaluations.
• Maintain clean equipment and assist members on the wellness floor.
