Job summary

Bank Michigan in Ann Arbor is seeking career-minded candidates for a Full Time Personal Banker (Teller) to assist at our Ann Arbor Branch and to float to other locations as needed. You will provide superior customer service while performing over-the-counter deposits, loan transactions and product/service sales, with a focus on accuracy and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience and cash handling experience.
• Professional, customer-focused demeanor with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Proficient with technology and banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposits; verifies amounts and enters deposits.
• Cashes checks, processes withdrawals, and pays out money after verification.
• Promotes loans, IRAs, CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and money orders.
• Receives loan payments and enters payments into the computer; issues receipts.
• Balances cash drawer and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists customers with Online Banking setup and password resets.
