Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network (AILN) is seeking a P/T Female Support Worker/Driver to assist a lady at home. Shift hours vary between 16-20 per week, with potential sleepovers.

A clean driving license is essential and the role includes driving for social activities and appointments. The successful candidate will have care experience, knowledge of learning disabilities and epilepsy is desirable, with training provided for health support needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in care environment desirable.
• Knowledge of Learning Disabilities and Epilepsy desirable.
• Awareness of Rescue Medication helpful.

Responsibilities

• Administering meds including rescue meds.
• Assisting with personal care (showering, grooming, creams, hygiene).
• Food and drink preparation.
• Shopping for supplies.
• Light cleaning (laundry, dusting, vacuuming, tidying).
• Upkeep of property and reporting faults.
