Job summary

Ami Arroyo, Inc. is seeking a Senior People Operations Generalist for a part-time, six-month contract in Sunnyvale, CA. You will own People data and reporting strategy, ensure data integrity, and drive cross-functional programs to scale operations within the People team.

You will resolve complex employee matters, influence stakeholders without formal authority, and help shape scalable processes while ensuring compliance with employment requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive People Operations or HR Operations experience.
• Ownership of programs or processes beyond routine administration.
• Fluency using Workday for processes, reporting, and data integrity.
• Ability to lead initiatives and influence without formal authority.
• Experience navigating complex, sensitive employee matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategy and roadmap for People data and reporting.
• Own data integrity standards and define actionable insights for leadership.
• Escalation point for complex employee matters involving benefits, leaves, and time off.
• Lead cross-functional People Operations initiatives to scale processes and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboard infrastructure for leadership.
• Set priorities across cross-functional People Operations projects.
• Mentor junior team members and improve operational cadence.
• Document People processes, system configurations, and decisions.
