Job summary

On the Road to Wellness is seeking a compassionate, reliable driver to provide transportation and peer support at our Manchester and Derry Walk-In Centers. The role emphasizes safety, welcoming interactions, and helping participants access community resources.

Responsibilities include transporting participants, supporting walk-in center activities, and potentially cross-training for per diem residential shifts. Opportunities exist for additional hours and community events.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Comfort engaging with diverse adults and providing peer support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with participants.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to participants between walk-in centers.
• Assist participants with getting to and from the centers during scheduled shifts.
• Support and facilitate peer groups and wellness activities.
• Engage with participants to help connect them with community resources and supports.
• Occasionally cover additional hours and events as needed.
