Job summary

On the Road to Wellness in Derry, NH is seeking a part-time Peer Support Specialist to join our walk-in center team. The role offers up to 25 hours per week, with scheduling based on program needs and staff availability, and pay is $18.00 per hour, biweekly.

Peers provide non-clinical support built on lived experience, connection, and mutual respect. Staff will facilitate groups, connect people with resources, document services, and help create a welcoming, recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong commitment to personal recovery and wellness.
• Lived experience can be used appropriately within a peer support relationship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer support and facilitate or co-facilitate groups.
• Welcome participants, connect with community resources, and assist with PATH wellness planning.
• Document services and collaborate with peers and leadership.
