Job summary

On the Road to Wellness in Derry, NH is hiring a part-time Peer Support Specialist to join our walk-in center team. This role offers up to about 25 hours per week, with scheduling based on program needs, employee availability, and community needs.

You will provide non-clinical peer support in a welcoming space, using lived experience to inspire hope, connect people to resources, facilitate groups, and collaborate with staff to promote recovery and belonging.

• Willingness to complete training to become a Certified New Hampshire Peer Support Specialist within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Spend part of your shift providing one-on-one peer support and facilitating or co-facilitating groups.
• Welcome participants into the center, connect someone with community resources, assist with PATH wellness planning, and participate in outreach.
• Complete documentation and work collaboratively with other Peer Support Specialists and leadership.
• Help create a recovery-oriented environment where people feel seen, heard, respected, and connected.
