Job description

Sevita provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Here we believe every person has the right to live well, and everyone deserves to have a fulfilling career. You’ll join a mission-driven team and create relationships that motivate us all every day. Join us today, and experience a career well lived.

At Small Steps, therapy is more than a service - it’s a collaborative, creative, and deeply human experience. We are a multidisciplinary team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and feeding specialists who are united by a shared purpose: helping children and families thrive through compassionate, individualized care.

Our clinic is built on mentorship, collaboration, and the belief that every clinician brings unique passions and strengths to the team. Whether you’re developing a specialty, exploring new approaches, or refining your craft, you’ll be supported by experienced colleagues who are invested in your growth. We don’t just work alongside each other—we learn from each other.

We take a neurodiversity-affirming, child-led, play-based approach to therapy. That means we honor each child’s individuality, follow their lead, and create meaningful, engaging experiences that support development in a way that feels natural and empowering. Our work is guided not only by clinical excellence but by respect, curiosity, and joy.

About The Role

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist who is excited to build a rewarding career working with infants and their families. This position offers the unique opportunity to train alongside our highly specialized infant therapy team, learning advanced assessment and treatment techniques for infant feeding, positioning, motor development, sensory regulation, and caregiver coaching.

Our collaborative, team-based model allows you to work closely with experienced occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, and IBCLCs to provide comprehensive care for infants with feeding challenges, body tension, torticollis, and more. You'll never feel like you're practicing in isolation—our team collaborates daily to provide the highest level of care for every child and family.

While previous infant experience is preferred, we are committed to training the right clinician who is eager to learn, enjoys working with families, and is passionate about early intervention

Why Join Us?
  • Work within a truly collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Receive ongoing mentorship and professional development
  • Grow and specialize in areas you’re passionate about
  • Practice in a neurodiversity-affirming, child-led environment
  • Be part of a supportive, creative, and mission-driven culture
