Job summary

Sevita in Tucson is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to improve daily living skills for children and adults in community-based and clinical settings. You will work with a collaborative team of therapists to design individualized plans that promote independence and confidence.

• Must have a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Arizona OT license in good standing.
• At least one year of experience in human services.
• Pediatric experience or assistive technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence.
• Provide engaging therapy services in clinic, community, and telehealth settings.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Conduct home and community assessments when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Supervise COTAs when applicable.

What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help individuals improve the skills they need for everyday life by:

• Completing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Developing individualized treatment plans that promote independence and quality of life
• Providing engaging therapy services in clinic, community, and telehealth settings
• Monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Collaborating closely with physicians, families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members
• Conducting home and community assessments when appropriate
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), when applicable

What We're Looking For

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license in good standing
• At least one year of experience in human services
• Pediatric experience or assistive technology experience preferred
• Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping individuals reach their highest level of independence
