Qualifications

• Preferred: Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Technical/Phlebotomy - Perform approved specimen collection procedures, point-of-care testing services and processing; provide education to patients and families.
• Customer Service - Act as patient advocate, meet patient/family needs, provide information about tests and patient admissions/discharges.
• Collaboration - Work cooperatively with others to achieve goals and share knowledge with team members.
• Professional Development - Maintain currency through continuing education and mandatory trainings.
• Compliance - Understand and comply with policies and ensure a safe, organized work area within Laboratory Support Services.
