Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist for Wellesley, MA (near Boston). The role offers a per diem compensation of $1,000–$1,200 with earning potential from percentage of collections, within a full-service multi-specialty practice.

You will diagnose, educate, and create treatment plans, while collaborating with a patient-centered team and maintaining the highest standards of care. Valid DMD/DDS and state license are required.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education
