Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist for our Wellesley, MA location. This role offers a flexible schedule with a per diem compensation of $1,000–$1,200, plus potential earnings from collections and an integrated multi-specialty practice focus on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.

Ideal candidates hold a DMD or DDS, board eligibility or certification in pediatric dentistry, and an active Massachusetts license. Full-time benefits apply at averaging 32 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism; stay current with developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
