Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join a multi-specialty practice near Boston. The role offers flexible days, integrated orthodontics/periodontics, and a dedicated patient base with a strong focus on patient care and provider well-being.

The position supports a sustainable, long-term career with salary per diem of $1,000–$1,200, uncapped through percent of collections, and comprehensive benefits for eligible hours.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office; stay abreast of new developments, technologies, and best practices.
