Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join a full-service, multi-specialty practice near Boston. The role offers a per diem compensation with uncapped earnings through collections, plus integrated orthodontics and periodontics within the practice.

The position supports a flexible schedule and a dedicated patient base, with opportunities for long-term career growth and potential transition to full-time.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree
