Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston area is seeking a pediatric dentist for a part-time role at our Wellesley, MA practice. The position supports a multi-specialty, patient-centered environment focused on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, with long-term career growth potential.

Compensation includes a $1,000–$1,200 per diem with uncapped earnings via a percentage of collections, plus a collaborative team atmosphere and opportunities across in-house orthodontics and periodontics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care; maintain high standard of care.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies and best practices through continuing education.
