Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty practice near Boston. You will provide preventive and restorative care, diagnose pediatric conditions, and develop treatment plans for young patients within a collaborative team.

The role offers per diem pay of $1,000–$1,200 with uncapped earning potential through percent of collections, plus comprehensive benefits for eligible full-time hours and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program is required.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry is expected.
• Current state dental license is required to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Education

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
