Job summary

Aims Community College invites applications for a Part-time Adjunct Faculty position in Physical Education at the Early College Academy in Greeley, CO. The role supports high school partnerships, delivers instruction aligned with program goals, and participates in activities such as orientation and enrollment.

Occasional travel may be required. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s orBachelor’s with significant related experience and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field required or
• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field with 2,000 hours of related experience and CPR certification
• Associate’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field with 4,000 hours of related experience and CPR certification
• Current Heartsaver CPR certification required across qualifications
• For other combinations, a current relevant certification plus 10,000 hours of related experience and CPR certification may apply

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Early College assignment requirements and events
• Teach to develop, implement, evaluate and update program curriculum
• Deliver high-quality instruction using modernized curricula
• Utilize alternative delivery technologies to support student learning
• Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

K-12 teaching experience

Concurrent enrollment experience

Technology in classroom

Education

Master’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field

Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field + 2,000 hours experience

Associate’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field + 4,000 hours experience
