Aims Community College is seeking part-time faculty for the Early College Academy in partnership with Weld County District 6. Compensation is paid per credit, with ranges from $1,297.00 to $3,753.00 per credit. Some benefits apply for part-time employees, and travel to events may be required.

The role involves teaching, curriculum development, and participating in assessments and college activities, with evenings for conferences as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree plus 2,000 hours of relevant industry experience within the last seven years.
• Alternate: Master's degree with 18 graduate level credits plus 2,000 hours of industry experience in last seven years.
• Bachelor's degree in computer field plus 4,000 hours of industry experience recently.
• AS degree in a computer field plus 4,000 hours of industry experience recently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Early College assignment requirements, schedule, and events as specified in the contract addendum.
• Teach to develop, implement, evaluate and update program goals and curriculum within the department.
• Provide effective instruction and use technology to enhance student learning.
• Contribute to assessment of student learning outcomes and participate in program activities.

Education

Master's degree in business administration with information technology emphasis

Master's degree including 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching disciplines

Bachelor's degree in a computer related field

Associate of Applied Science degree in a computer related field
