Job summary

Aims Community College's Early College Academy seeks educators to deliver high school courses while guiding students toward an Associate of Arts through concurrent enrollment. This full-time role requires aligning with program goals, maintaining compliance with faculty contracts, and employing technology to enhance learning across courses.

Responsibilities include developing curriculum, assessing student outcomes, and participating in events such as orientations and parent conferences.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in related field with CPR certification is required or equivalent experience with certification.
• Bachelor or associate degree with specified hours and CPR certification.
• Experience with instructional technology and dual enrollment programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Early College assignment requirements and events as specified in the faculty contract addendum.
• Maintain compliance with the part-time faculty position description including teaching and curriculum development.
• Maintain compliance with all faculty responsibilities per College policies and procedures.
• Provide effective instruction and continuously refine curriculum to meet high college standards.
• Use technology to enhance lecture and lab instruction.
• Apply learning-centered outcomes and assess student learning outcomes.
• Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
