Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH. This part-time days position supports Med Surg Oncology (5K) with 7am–7pm shifts, including every 3rd weekend.

Responsibilities include basic patient care, vital signs, hygiene, mobility assistance, and collaboration with RNs. BLS preferred; completion of nursing aide training or STNA/CNA or related clinical coursework required.

Qualifications

• Nursing aide training program completed or STNA/CNA or nursing program with clinicals.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred and must obtain prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care (comfort, hygiene, mobility) and monitor vital signs.
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse and report changes.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
