Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents in a warm, home-like Ashland, MO community. You’ll assist with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and collaborate with a caring nursing team dedicated to resident well-being.

This part-time role features Thursday 6am–2pm and every-other-weekend shifts, with competitive pay of $15.50 per hour and opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
