Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support our residents in a warm, home-like environment. This full-time role in St. Peters, MO offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift options with pay from $17 to $18.50 per hour.

You’ll assist residents with daily living activities, ensure safety, and work closely with a caring team to promote dignity and comfort. CPR/BLS training is a plus, and training is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
