Job description

  • Salary: $29–$36/hour, depending on experience
  • Location: McLean, VA
  • Office Situation: 100% in-office | Permanent part-time | Approximately 20–24 hours per week
Why This Opportunity Stands Out

If you know payroll inside and out but don't want a traditional 40-hour workweek, this is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of payroll while maintaining a part-time schedule.

  • Permanent part-time opportunity with approximately 20–24 hours per week.
  • Flexible scheduling options, including three longer days or shorter days throughout the week, with flexibility needed around payroll processing dates.
  • True payroll ownership. You won't be responsible for just one piece of the process.
  • Work directly with HR and Accounting and become the go-to resource for payroll.
  • Opportunity to use your payroll knowledge, accounting skills, and problem-solving ability rather than simply processing transactions.
  • Established organization with a long-standing presence in the real estate industry.
  • 401(k) eligibility for this part-time position.
  • Excellent fit for an experienced payroll professional who wants to continue doing meaningful work without committing to a full-time schedule.
