Job summary

Benny's Pawn Shop in the United States is seeking entry-level, part-time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associates to join our team. You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and help with a wide range of merchandise while earning commission.

We offer wage access, 401k eligibility after six months, and employee discounts starting on day one, plus flexible hours as stores vary by location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to become firearms certified.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and sell financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures and keep the sales floor clean and stocked.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items according to procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate legal aspects of pawn/buy transactions.
• Collaborate with coworkers to create a positive customer experience and complete training.
