Job summary

FirstCash Pawn seeks an entry-level, part-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate to join its store team. You will greet customers, process sales and loan transactions, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor across jewelry, tools, electronics and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on performance. The role emphasizes delivering a positive customer experience, working with the full staff, and supporting both lending and retail sides of the business.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to perform duties for extended periods, including standing and walking.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old; High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling experience is preferred, and ability to work at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
• Handle cash and negotiable items following company procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Provide information on pawn and buy transactions and ensure great customer experience.
