Job summary

Loftis Jewelry & Pawnbrokers is hiring a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate for our pawn store locations. Earn hourly pay plus commission; up to 8% on transactions, with potential to add about $1.33 per hour on top of base pay.

The role involves greeting customers, processing sales and loans, and maintaining merchandise displays. Must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, and willing to work flexible hours including weekends. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 18
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Ability to work flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays
• Experience with cash handling preferred
• Ability to work with firearms and become certified (FFL locations)

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to provide financial solutions
• Perform open/close procedures
• Keep sales floor clean and well stocked
• Handle sales and loan transactions per policies
• Process cash and negotiable items securely
• Answer calls and assist customers with pawn and buy transactions
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and managers
• Complete assigned training and support team
• Other related duties as needed
