Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is recruiting for a Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate to join our pawn stores across the country.

You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and work with a variety of merchandise including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms in eligible locations. The role offers hourly pay between $15.00 and $18.00 plus commission up to 8% of personal gross profit, with potential extra earnings.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Should be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide financial solutions.
• Performs open/close procedures as required.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays properly set.
• Processes sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions clearly.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes required training and other related duties as assigned.
