Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Technology Assistant in Falls Church, VA. You will provide customer service to residents and visitors, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining clear logs and reporting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; document and report unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and contact emergency services or management when appropriate.
• Prepare clear activity logs, incident reports, and shift pass-down information.
