Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer/Patrol Driver in Scranton, PA to protect retail locations and customers. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and compliance with driver policy requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver�s license required.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screening as applicable by law.
• Driver license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location: sales areas, entrances, exits, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and deter theft or unauthorized entry.
• Document observations and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
